Aims and Scope

Electronic Journal of Applied Mathematics (EJAM) is a peer-reviewed, international, open access journal published by Mersin University. The journal is devoted to the publication of high-quality, original research in applied mathematics and related areas. EJAM aims to provide a global academic platform for researchers, mathematicians, and practitioners to present new theoretical results, computational developments, and mathematically rigorous studies motivated by real-world applications.

The journal is committed to a rigorous, fair, and timely peer-review process, ensuring the publication of significant and impactful contributions to the field.

Aims

  • To advance research in applied mathematics: EJAM seeks to publish articles that make substantial and original contributions to applied mathematics, ranging from analytical theory to computational methods and interdisciplinary applications.
  • To promote international academic exchange: EJAM aims to serve as a global forum for the dissemination of mathematical knowledge and to encourage communication and collaboration among researchers worldwide.
  • To support quality and transparency in publishing: The journal is committed to providing authors with a fair, efficient, and transparent editorial and peer-review process.

Scope

EJAM welcomes submissions in applied mathematics and closely related fields. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems: Ordinary differential equations, partial differential equations, fractional differential equations, stochastic differential equations, dynamical systems, and stability theory.
  • Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing: Numerical methods, approximation theory, computational mathematics, and simulation techniques.
  • Optimization and Control: Optimization theory, calculus of variations, optimal control, inverse problems, and related analytical and computational methods.
  • Probability and Stochastic Analysis: Probability theory, stochastic processes, stochastic modeling, and applications in science and engineering.
  • Mathematical Modeling and Applications: Mathematical models arising in physics, engineering, biology, economics, finance, and other applied sciences.
  • Applied Analysis and Related Fields: Integral equations, functional analysis, operator theory, and other analytical methods with clear applied relevance.

The journal encourages submissions that build strong connections between mathematical theory, computation, and applications. Both analytical works with applied significance and interdisciplinary studies with substantial mathematical content are welcome.
